Photography Students Project

On the 22nd of February my good friend who is a Photography student needed my expert help! The shoot took place in Green Park, which to do a full face of makeup on a park bench was a first. I feel that the makeup look I did worked out well considering I tried something I have never done before.

The way I created this eye look started with my NYX Gel eyeliner and covering most of the eye lid, stopping just before the crease. I made sure to blend it out a little before it fully dried. I then patted black brow powder from an MUA dark brow palette, over the top, to give the air brush look.

Time for colour! This is up you, you can go wild. I chose to go for the shade Great Minds which is like a bright orange from the Innovative HD Palette Revolution (read my full review on this palette here). This looked amazing, but I wanted to add some depth to the look, so I went in to the outer crease with a dark berry like purple from the same palette, the shade was Invention. This gave a nice smoky nude look to the eye and to finish the look I used an MUA liquid lipstick in the shade Passion. I wanted to use a nude colour on the lips because I tend to go for bold eyes and nude lips or nude eyes and bold lips.
