Review: Revolution Products

Recently I have been watching YouTube on makeup tutorials and a lot of video bloggers are raving about how amazing Revolution products … so me being me, thought I would venture down to Oxford street and purchase some Revolution makeup products, and I must say I was very impressed. The ‘innovative’ HD PRO palette - £15

I am speechless about this product! You get 35 shades of eye shadow that is a very quality for the price. There are very pigmented, but I did experience a tiny bit of fall out (when some eyeshadow dust falls under your eye), therefore it is worth doing your eye makeup first, and then your foundation.

I haven’t got round to using all 35 shades yet but there is one shade called Great Minds which is a bright orange and is my favourite transition colour as I am a massive fan of warm tones

‘Conceal & Define, full coverage and contour’ concealer- £4

Due to the inner Casper I am, I purchased the lightest shade, which was C1. They have 18 different shades, so there is a high chance that you will find one to match your skin tone.

This is now my favourite concealer and is my second purchase of this exact product because I found it didn’t last me that long. For me, it lasted about two months, but will depend on how often you do your makeup and how much you use concealer; for the price though, you cannot go wrong!

Brow Revolution (Dark Brunette) - £6

I have never used a liquid brow product before, so this is a first. I bought this in dark brunette, which personally I thought was a little dark for me, however they didn’t have many shades to choose from. They claim this to be smudge proof and waterproof. Does it work? Well, I really struggled scrubbing this off at the end of my day!

Whether your experienced with make up or just beginning, this brand if perfect, their products are reasonably priced, and they deliver on quality. Overall, I am going to continue to use Revolution concealer, but I am still on the hunt for a liquid brow as this was a little too dark.
